Auction activity continues to strengthen in Adelaide despite overall slowing down across major cities in Australia according to the latest report from www.rpdata.com.
During the week ending 22 November, auction clearance rate in Adelaide rose to 63.4% from 58.1% a week ago. The number of properties listed for auction also jumped to 82 with buyers snapping 52 during auctions.
Melbourne saw an increase of the number of properties up for grabs to 739, however only 568 were sold during auction while 171 were unsold. As a result, clearance rate drop to 76.9% from 80.7% from a week ago.
Sydney saw similar trend, a total of 533 properties were listed for auction but only 350 were sold, dragging clearance to 65.7%.
