RP Data is offering three free property valuation estimates to every person who signs up on their Facebook page.
The service, which gives the public unprecedented access to the research firm’s property information database, is available via an app on the RP Data Facebook page. The app allows users to register an interest in three properties, for which valuations will be provided each month.
The valuations will be electronically generated using “complex modeling and a massive amount of data”, according to RP Data CEO Graham Mirabito. RP Data already electronically values every residential property across Australia each week and produces over 30m electronic valuations every month.
“As the largest provider of property data and analytics to banks, government and real estate professionals, we feel it's important consumers get access to the best databases in the country,” added Mirabito.
“Through our free residential property valuations opportunity, we want to make sure people are not selling themselves short during these current slower than normal times in the market.”

Other free online services provided by RP Data include suburb profiles on the RP Data website and the RP Data-powered CBA iPhone property application, which provides national access to listings, recent sales, past sales, valuation guide and market sentiment.
