Women across the industry and well-known local and international speakers will gather at the annual REINSW Women in Real Estate (WIRE) conference for professional development and personal motivation. The conference will be held on March 26 at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
In its 13th year, WIRE will offer sessions that feature speakers with inspiring stories that are practical and personal. REINSW President Leanne Pilkington will be the facilitator of the event.
“There are many women in our industry who are incredibly successful and accomplished – who don’t go looking for the spotlight. They often don’t receive the acknowledgement and praise they deserve, but events like these shine light on their achievements and encourage others to step outside their comfort zone and challenge themselves,” said Pilkington.
Speakers in the conference include Louisette Geiss, former actress-turned-property-indemnity-insurance expert; Ewan Morton, co-founder and joint managing director of real estate company Morton; Veronica Morgan, agent and founder of Good Deeds Property Buyers; Cathy Baker, award-winning Belle Property principal; and Gina McCartney, REA Group executive manager of residential marketing and events.
WIRE caters to women in the areas of real estate sales, property management, commercial, auctioneering, buyers’ agency and agency services. Aside from informative sessions and networking opportunities, industry professionals will benefit by earning 12 CPD points following the completion of their online assessment.
REINSW is an industry body for real estate professionals in NSW, representing more than 8,000 professionals across 2,000 agencies.
